We recognize that the higher education and workforce journeys begin well before the college classroom, the apprenticeship or that first day on the job. With the Class of 2025 busily applying to their schools of choice and exploring a variety of vocational paths, we are proud to offer some expert advice for the process from Alicia Gomory, LPC, a counselor specializing in school and career coaching at Belvidere High School in Illinois. In addition to being a licensed professional counselor, she holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in counseling from Northern Illinois University.
